Patch 1
Perpetua » Devlog
Perpetua's first patch has been released!
I received tons of good feedback and insight from commenters, as well as a reviewer who published the game on his YouTube channel! (Link will be below)
Here are a list of the changes:
- Expanded end of demo message (Early supporters will be included in credits upon full release!)
- Added text scaling
- Boiler Room now grants an additional worker when expansion upgrade is purchased after story event
- Adjusted scrap rubber, steam pipe, and steam dust gather cooldowns
- Efficiency upgrades are no longer hidden
- Clear save button actually works now
- Fixed NPC dialogue not triggering when supposed to
- Fixed pixel art rendering warped/blurry on different screen sizes
- Removed leftover debug rectangle in opening cutscene
- Replaced most default browser/css assets
- Increased default text size
- NPC injury/alerts now appear red with a distinct sound
- Bounty rewards now have the same popup effect as gathering, will appear as blue instead of green
- Minor UI improvements
- Minor sprite adjustments
I also received some good feedback for potential upgrades, these will be included in a later patch/release of the game - I just wanted to get a bit of polish out first.
And a huge thank you to Fort Kenmei for featuring Perpetua! Check his video out here!
